1. What we collect
When you submit a profile or make a payment, we collect:
- your email address,
- the Instagram username and Instagram profile URL you submit,
- the description and category you write for your profile,
- payment metadata (amount, currency, timestamp, and a payment processor reference — never full card numbers),
- your activity on CreatorBoard itself, such as pages viewed and placements managed, and
- click analytics: aggregate counts of CreatorBoard profile views and outbound Instagram clicks.
2. What we do not sell
- We do not sell Instagram data of any kind — we don't collect Instagram analytics, and we have no access to your Instagram account.
- We do not sell private profile information submitted when you create a placement.
- We do not sell creator data to advertisers.
3. Lawful basis for processing
We process your information under the following lawful bases:
- Contract — to create and operate the placement you paid for.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent fraud, and improve ranking accuracy.
- Consent — for optional communications and non-essential cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
- Legal obligation — to keep payment records required by law.
4. Retention
We retain profile and payment data for as long as a placement is active plus a limited period afterward to handle refund requests, disputes, and legal obligations. Aggregate click analytics are retained in de-identified form for reporting. We delete personal information sooner on a verified deletion request under Section 7.
5. Sharing with processors
We share the minimum information necessary with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, including:
- our payment processor, to complete and verify payments,
- email delivery providers, to send confirmations and management links,
- hosting and infrastructure providers, to run the Service.
We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@creatorboard.com.
7. Data deletion
To request deletion of your personal information, email support@creatorboard.com from the address associated with your profile, stating that you want your data deleted. We will verify the request against the email on file, remove your active placement from public display, and delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain payment records by law.
Deleting your data removes your placement from CreatorBoard. It does not affect any Instagram content, which we never had access to.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update. Material changes will be communicated to active placement holders by email where reasonably practicable.
