Common questions

Is this YouTube advertising?

No. CreatorBoard sells visibility and placement on CreatorBoard only. It is not YouTube advertising and does not come from or run through YouTube in any way.

Is my position guaranteed?

No. Positions shown before payment are estimates based on the current board. Your final position depends on your qualifying amount for that board and period and on the leaderboard state at the moment your placement activates, and it can move afterward as other creators join or top up.

What counts toward my qualifying amount?

Everything the listing was worth when it activated: the amount charged plus any Creator Credits spent on it. Amounts accumulate within a board and period rather than replacing one another, so paying again on the same board adds to your total instead of resetting it. Full definition in the Competition Rules.

What happens when my placement expires?

It expires when the calendar month does — every listing on a board ends on the same instant, whichever day of the month it was bought. The monthly board then clears and the next one opens empty, so appearing next month means listing and paying again next month. Amounts already credited stay on that month’s record, and on the global board, which never resets.

How do refunds work?

There are no refunds once a placement has been displayed on the board — the listing was delivered as sold. Two things sit outside that. A duplicated charge or a payment that failed to process correctly is a payment error, not a refund, and we correct it. And if we remove a placement for a reason that is not a rules violation on your part, we refund the portion of the term we did not deliver. A refund of any size removes the whole qualifying amount that payment contributed to every board it counted toward, so the position it bought is given up in full. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
