1. Placements are non-refundable once delivered
Your payment buys visibility and placement on CreatorBoard for 30 days. Once a placement has been activated and displayed on the Service, it has been delivered, and the payment for it is non-refundable. This applies even if your position later drops, even if another creator outbids you, and even if you are dissatisfied with the listing page views or clicks the placement produced. A change in position under our published ranking rules is expected behaviour, not a service failure — see how ranking works.
This rule is not subject to negotiation. If you want to hold or improve a position rather than accept where it settles, the way to do that is to add to your qualifying amount — see Competition & Bidding Rules — not to request a refund.
2. What we still correct: payment errors
Section 1 is about a placement that worked as described. It is not about a payment that went wrong. Those are two different things, and we correct the second even though we don’t refund the first. A payment error is one of the following, and only these:
- Duplicate charge. You were charged more than once for the same submission, for example because of a checkout retry.
- Charge with no placement ever activated. Your payment was confirmed but no placement was ever created or displayed against it — nothing was delivered for that charge.
- Charge taken after a technical failure. A fault on our side took payment but prevented activation, or corrupted the submission it was meant to pay for.
In each of these cases we correct the charge in full — refunding it, or, if you’d rather, activating the placement it was always meant to pay for once the fault is fixed. This is a correction of an error, not an exception to Section 1: nothing was delivered for the charge being corrected.
3. What is not a payment error
For clarity, none of the following count as a payment error, and none entitle you to a refund:
- your position dropped because another creator's qualifying amount overtook yours,
- you were outbid for a Top 10 or #1 position you previously held,
- you are unhappy with the number of listing page views or YouTube clicks the placement produced,
- you changed your mind after the placement was already displayed,
- you asked us to take the placement down early — see Section 5.
4. Service not delivered
If we remove your placement for a reason not attributable to a Terms or Platform Rules violation on your part, email support@creatorboard.lol and we will refund the portion of the term we did not deliver. This is a narrow exception for time we failed to deliver, not a reopening of Section 1.
A refund of any size withdraws the full qualifying amount that payment contributed to every board it counted toward, so the position it bought is given up in full. A refund does not return a partial position.
5. Taking a listing down
There is no self-service cancellation. To have an active placement removed from public display before it expires, email support@creatorboard.lol from the address used at submission and we will take it down.
Removal stops your channel appearing on CreatorBoard from that point on. It does not refund the time already displayed, and it does not return the qualifying amount already credited to the boards for the current period — see Section 1. A placement that simply reaches the end of its 30 days comes down on its own and needs no action from you.
6. How to request a correction
Email support@creatorboard.lol from the address used at submission, with your payment reference and which of the payment errors in Section 2 applies. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
7. Timelines
- Payment error reports must be submitted within 14 days of the charge date.
- Approved corrections are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
- Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take a further 5–10 business days for the correction to appear.
8. Your chargeback rights
Nothing in this policy limits your right to dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer. That right exists independently of this policy and is not limited by it. If you believe a charge was made in error or without your authorisation, we ask that you contact us first: most payment errors under Section 2 are resolved faster this way, without a dispute sitting on your card statement for weeks.
A chargeback filed over a placement that was delivered as described in Section 1 — rather than over a genuine payment error — is treated as a dispute over service you already received. We will contest it with the evidence that the placement was displayed, and the associated placement may be suspended while the dispute is investigated.
