0. Who we are
Discovery Circle is a membership operated by CreatorBoard, the same company that operates CreatorBoard. These Circle Terms sit alongside, and do not replace, the CreatorBoard Terms & Conditions.
1. What Discovery Circle is
Discovery Circle is a paid membership. A membership is bought once and runs for 30 days; it does not renew and you are never charged again without buying it again. In return, members review other members’ listings on CreatorBoard. A verified review earns Creator Credits — a discount against CreatorBoard listing fees — and raises the member’s position on the Circle Board, a leaderboard ranked by reviews completed rather than by amount paid.
You are paid for the review you submit on CreatorBoard. You are never paid, rewarded or asked to follow, subscribe to, like, comment on or otherwise act on anyone’s YouTube channel. Whether you do any of that is entirely your own choice, and it changes nothing about what you earn or where you rank. See Section 6.
2. Joining and membership fee
- Membership costs $15 and runs for 30 days from the day the payment is confirmed. It is charged once. There is no recurring cycle and no stored payment method.
- You may unlock the standard $15 rate for your first term by completing 10 qualifying reviews within 14 days as a non-member.
- Joining directly, without completing those qualifying reviews, costs $30 for the first 30-day term. Every term bought after that is $15 regardless of how you joined.
- Membership and extra channel slots are paid by card through our payment provider. Creator Credits cannot be used for either — credit is a discount against a listing, not a way to buy membership.
- A qualifying review run that lapses without reaching the target simply expires — nothing is charged, and you may start a new one at any time.
3. What counts as a review
A review is counted once you open a listed channel, return to CreatorBoard, and submit a verdict on it — subject to the timing, session and quality checks published in our fraud-prevention rules. Reviewing the same listing again counts once, for all time; reviewing a different listing raises your total by one.
- Reviews are limited to 60 per day and 250 per week, per member.
- A review of a listing you own, or are connected to, is never counted.
- A repeated, low-effort or clearly automated pattern of verdicts stops earning credit until the pattern breaks; the review is still recorded, never treated as a failure on your account.
4. Creator Credits
Reviews earn Creator Credits under the reward curve, the weekly pool and the per-member caps set out in full in the Discovery Circle Credit Terms, which are part of this agreement. In short: Creator Credits are a discount against CreatorBoard listing fees. It is never money, cannot be withdrawn, and cannot be transferred to another member or account.
5. The visit guarantee
Every new membership is guaranteed at least 10 visits from CreatorBoard members within 30 days of joining. If that guarantee is not met, your membership fee for that period is refunded in full. A visit is a real, signed-in member who opened your listing and returned to submit a review; a verifiable record of every visit is available to you on request.
6. Platform compliance
Instagram and YouTube both prohibit paying for, rewarding or otherwise incentivising a follow or a subscription. Discovery Circle does not do this, and is built so that neither rule is ever engaged:
- payment is for the review submitted on CreatorBoard — never for following, subscribing to, liking, commenting on or otherwise acting on anyone's account;
- no action on Instagram or YouTube is requested, required, rewarded or tracked;
- CreatorBoard holds no account, credentials, tokens or platform access on Instagram or YouTube, and never has; and
- every review is shown as a count with a disclosure, never presented as an independent endorsement or testimonial.
Review counts only. Circle members receive Creator Credits for the reviews they complete, so these are not independent endorsements or testimonials.
7. When membership ends
Membership ends 30 days after the day the payment was confirmed. It does not renew, there is no recurring billing to cancel, and you will not be charged again unless you buy another term yourself through our payment provider.
Every channel on the membership stops circulating in the review list on the same day the membership ends. A membership and the slots under it are one purchase with one end date; slots bought part-way through a term end with it rather than running on separately.
Ending withdraws nothing already earned. A review already completed still counts, and Creator Credits already earned remain spendable under Sections 3 and 4 of the Credit Terms until their own expiry.
8. Suspension
We may suspend a membership found to be operating multiple accounts, submitting fraudulent or automated verdicts, or otherwise circumventing the limits in Section 3. A suspended member keeps any Creator Credits already earned and unexpired, but earns no further credit and no further Circle Board position while suspended.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Circle Terms from time to time. A change that materially reduces what you are entitled to will not apply to Creator Credits you have already earned, and we will give notice of any material change before it takes effect.
